The Triplett SLM400-KIT Sound Level Meter with Calibrator Kit is designed for testing and verifying sound levels in various environments. The Sound Level Meter meets the standards of IEC 61672-1 type 2 and ANSI S1.4 Type 2, providing an accuracy of +/-1.5dB. It features a wide measurement range from 35 to 130dB and offers A and C weighting options. The response time can be set to fast or slow as needed.

The included calibrator is compatible with 1/2" diameter microphones and has selectable 94dB and 114dB output levels. It has an accuracy of +/-0.5dB and operates at a frequency of 1kHz. The calibrator's output frequency has a tolerance of +/-4%.

The kit includes a Type 2 Sound Level Meter with a 9V battery and windscreen, as well as a Sound Level Calibrator with a 9V battery and a durable carrying case.
