A/C Weighted Measurement Modes

Choose between A-Weighting and C-Weighting modes for optimal sound level measurement. A-Weighting mode simulates the frequency response of human ear noise at low intensities, making it perfect for general noise monitoring. C-Weighting mode simulates high-intensity noises and is ideal for noise analysis of machines and motors. These professional measurement methods offer users an enhanced and seamless experience.

The device offers two measurement modes for different needs. Fast-Weighting mode, using a constant of 0.125 seconds per time, is ideal for measuring sound levels in real-time under general environmental conditions. Slow-Weighting mode, with a 1-second time constant, is suitable for areas experiencing significant noise level changes, providing more detailed environmental measurements.

Versatile and User-Friendly Features

The full-color LCD screen, with a resolution of 0.1 dB, displays clear and beautiful readings. The MAX hold function locks the maximum value, and the auto power-off feature after 15 minutes of inactivity prolongs battery life. The data hold function freezes the current readout, making it easy to read and record data. The flashlight feature enhances visibility at night.

Dual Visual Alerts for Safety

The decibel meter features a three-level alert system: - Level 1 (<50dB): The 🟩 analog bar is displayed, with no indicator lights up. - Level 2 (50-90dB): The 🟩🟨 analog bar is displayed, and the 🟢 indicator lights up, indicating a need to protect your hearing. - Level 3 (>90dB): The 🟩🟨🟥 analog bars are displayed, and the 🔴 indicator lights up, signaling immediate departure from the sound source.

Calibration Procedure

To ensure accurate readings, prepare a standard sound source device for calibration. Follow these steps: 1. Press the SLOW/FAST, Flashlight/HOLD, and power switch buttons simultaneously to enter calibration mode. 2. Set the standard source to 94dB and align the meter to this value. 3. Wait for the reading to stabilize at 94dB, then press the SLOW/FAST button to save. 4. Press the power switch button to restart the device, indicating the calibration is complete.
